Personal Bio

My name is Tomas Arando, Argentinean-Spanish Digital Compositor ( Buenos Aires, 1976). It all started at the age of 19, when inspired by my father´s career as a shooting producer, following in his footsteps I took a job as an intern in production department. Back in 2001, having worked on several films and adverts, I decided it was time for a change and set off to Spain looking for new challenges. In Madrid I gained experience as a post-production producer at different companies, mostly Telson. It was there I was fascinated by VFX compositing and with a little help from my colleagues I learnt the job in my spare time. My track record as a Digital Compositor includes Films, TV series and adverts and I have worked in many places such as Madrid, London, Brussels, Buenos Aires and Quebec to name a few. Throughout the years I have realised that the single most important element in one´s career is people. I have always come across extraordinary human beings that have left in me invaluable learnings, both personally and professionally, and with whom I will be forever grateful.
